Dr. Barbara McGuirk Attends AAGL 2019 In Vancouver, B.C., Canada

We caught up with Dr. Barbara McGuirk today in Vancouver, B.C., Canada where she is attending the 48th AAGL Global Congress on Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery! She joins fellow surgeons from all over the world to discuss innovation and technology to advance minimally invasive gynecology. Some highlights from the conference are when Dr. McGuirk connected with her mentor, Dr. Charles Koh, along with Mary Lou Ballweg, founder of the Endometriosis Association and a woman that Dr. McGuirk admires!

Dr. McGuirk was excited to meet with Dr. Charles Koh! Shortly after starting RAD in 1995, Dr. McGuirk went to Milwaukee, Wisconsin with interest in laparoscopic tubal anastomoses where she was mentored by Dr. Koh in laparoscopic suturing and also laparoscopic myomectomies.

Dr. McGuirk had the opportunity to snap a photo with Mary Lou Ballweg. Mary Lou is the founder of the Endometriosis Association and has been in the fight to help women with endometriosis for a very long time!
