A Family’s Journey of Love – RADfertility Patients Welcome Daughter in New Zealand With the Help of Their Surrogate

Sometimes it takes a village to grow a family, and RADfertility patients, Ashlynn and Tim Guptill, know this journey all too well. The couple lost their daughter, Grace, in 2017, after giving birth at 23 weeks. After facing this devastating loss, Tim’s sister, Rebecca, immediately stepped in and offered to become a surrogate to help the family. What followed were two years of ups and downs. From weathering the COVID-19 pandemic to navigating surrogacy and adoption legislation in New Zealand, it was one wild, Grace-filled ride. Their journey ultimately led the Guptill Family to welcome their perfect daughter, Vera Grace on September 26, 2020 in New Zealand. Little Vera will always carry her big sister, Grace, with her on every adventure through her sweet middle name and her Auntie is certainly her hero!
